Cu ocazia vernisării expoziției foto-documentare „Rusaliile Negre. Deportările în Bărăgan”, la 11 noiembrie 2019, Institutul de Istorie, MECC, a organizat la Muzeul de Istorie și Etnografie din Telenești un seminar pentru profesorii din instituțiile de învățământ preuniversitar.

În perioada 23-30 august 2019, și-a desfășurat activitatea Școala Internațională de Vară Cultura memoriei și patrimoniul cultural pentru tânăra generație. Schimb de experiență și bune practici între Lituania, Moldova și România, organizată de Centrul de Excelență Institutul ProMemoria, USM și Institutul de Istorie în parteneriat cu Centrul de Studiere a Genocidului și Rezistenței din Vilnius, Memorialul Ipotești, Centrul Național de Studii „Mihai Eminescu” și Memorialul Victimelor Comunismului și al Rezistenței din Sighetu Marmației.


The Academy of Sciences of Moldova jointly with the International Projects Center, with the support of the European Commission, organized on May 30-31, 2017 in Chisinau, the event "Exchange of experience on the association to the Framework Program of the European Union for Research and Innovation HORIZONT 2020 (H2020) ".


At the Institute of History of the ASM is carrying out a scholarship dr.hab. Mariann Nagy, Professor of Economic History at the Faculty of History, University of Pécs, Hungary. Her scholarship is part of the Vysegrad Fund Program and will take place within two academic semesters, between September 2015 and July 2016.


Between 17 to 28 June 2015, Minsk (Belarus) has hosted the international summer school for young historians, on "Soviet Union in the Second World War: current issues and historical memory of history" organized by Association of Historians from CIS countries.



From 4 to 10 June 2017, the Institute of History of the ASM participated at the International Summer School for Young Historians: "Year 1917: New Perspectives and Approaches", organized by the Institute of Universal History of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the State University of St. Petersburg.

The summer school was attended by 85 young historians, but also by well-known representatives of academic and university institutions from the CIS, the Baltic countries, but also from other European countries and Japan. The Institute of History of the ASM was attended by young researchers Dr. Andrei Emilciuc, Dr. Alexandru Cosmescu, PhD candidates Tudor-Eugen Sclifos and Cristina Gherasim, as well as Dr. Octavian Ţâcu as a lecturer, who presented the lecture "In Search of Identity: Basarabia between the Two Russian Revolutions of 1917".


On 16 September 2015 the University of the Academy of Sciences organized for researchers of subordinate institutions in filed of humanities the lecture "International Project Management in humanities", held by prof. Dr. Otilia Hedesan (West University of Timisoara). The lecture was attended by several young researchers of the Institute of History of the ASM, for whom the experience and advices shared by Mrs Otilia Hedesan aroused interest and will certainly be an impetus for more active involvement in international projects, such as those within Horizont 2020 Programme.



From 2 to 7 July 2015 in Brasov (Romania) was held the XIth edition of the Summer School "Challenges of history as a science and a discipline at the beginning of the third millennium", which brought together about 40 teachers and researchers of history form Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia and Hungary. The works of the summer school  were hosted by the University "Transilvania" of Brasov, being organized by the Center for Transylvanian Studies of the Romanian Academy and the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca, with funding from Department Policies for Relations with Romanians from Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania.

At the invitation of the Center for Transylvanian Studies of the Romanian Academy, Dr. Constantin Ungureanu, Dr. Valentin Constantinov and Dr. Silvia Corlăteanu-Granciuc had the opportunity to participate in the Summer School "Challenges of history as a science and discipline at the beginning of the third millennium" , tenth edition, which this year held its work in the multicultural city of Sibiu, from 7 to 12 July 2014.
